Swap in your fav veggies, skewer up your favorite sausage and voila you've got a delicious dinner in only a matter of minutes! | Tried and TastyThe weather in my area has been funky. It will be hot as blazes one day and then stormy, rainy and even hailing the next day. I can’t keep up. Either way, even though the weather can’t make up its mind on how to act for the day I’m still obsessing over taking my dinner cooking outside. We’ve had our grill fired up almost nightly cooking things like burger, brats, and now kababs! When I learned of Johnsonville’s Natural Brats I was ecstatic! They have no MSG added, 0G Trans Fat, No Fillers AND they are Gluten Free. Whatchoosay? I know. Super awesome right? Not only did I jump right on it, Steve did too – and if he did, you know that’s saying something.

With most kabobs you’ve got a marinade to soak everything in for 20 minutes up to an hour or even overnight. While that’s all fine and well, I learned that you really don’t need anything extra for these babies. The flavor of the natural brats really makes the meal quite delicious without anything more than a bit of cooking spray and some Italian seasoning. I chose to use both the white cheddar and andouille and both were fantastic. Don’t like mushrooms? No problem! Skewer them up anyway and then have your spouse eat them for you… I may or may not have done that as I love mushrooms and Steve, well notsomuch. But really though, that’s what’s great about these kabobs is that they are completely customizable. Totally easy, whips up fast and a great delicious dinner not only during the summer but anytime!
