I’m sharing #SausageFamily in my life as part of a Johnsonville sponsored series for Socialstars™
Nothing makes me happier than when it’s warm enough to fire up the grill. I love, love, love summer and one of the things I love about it most is that it’s the perfect weather for lighting up the grill. Did you know that Johnsonville makes burgers? Sure do. Johnsonville Grillers! They are a delicious burger made with only premium cuts of pork and combined with a unique blend of herbs and spices for a delicious flavor every time you grill. Perfectly juicy and perfectly flavorful. They were exactly what I was looking for when I had this Caprese Burger in mind.
I’ve been wanting to make a ‘caprese’ inspired meal for quite some time now as I’ve been seeing so many fun ideas floating all over the internet. What’s better than fresh mozzarella, fresh fragrant basil, and vibrant luscious tomatoes? All of those things on top of a burger of course! Sinking my teeth into this masterpiece was everything I wanted and so much more. I imagine I’ll be enjoying these all summer long. However, because Johnsonville Grillers come in several different flavors I’m excited to try lots of different kinds of burgers this summer. I basically plan to live outside all season long with BBQ’s, picnics, trips to the park, bike rides, camping trips… and anything else that keeps me in the great outdoors. Summer is indeed the best season of them all. I plan to enjoy every second of it!

Caprese is among my favourite summer salads, I can eat it all day every day. How come it hasn’t occurred to me to combine it with buns and steak… I would gladly try this at home, thanks for the idea!
This is my favourite type of a burger! I love both Caprese and burgers I can’t even imagine how tasty is this. Nom,nom! :)

I know, so delicious right?! Glad you like it as much as I do!
These look amazing. I’d leave off the tomato, but the fresh basil and mozzarella. MMM!
