Coconut Nutella Hot Chocolate // Warm up this winter with a refined-sugar-free, rich & creamy hot chocolate. If you like coconut, you'll love this rich indulgent drink made with all natural ingredients! | Tried and TastyDid you see my Three Ingredient Nutella that I posted last week? If you missed it – I PROMISE you do NOT want to leave without checking it out. Trust. After you give that a look, head over and take a peak at my Classic French Macarons with Homemade Nutella Filling. As I was sipping hot cocoa recently I had the idea that hot chocolate made with my healthier Nutella would be divine! But not just any, it had to be something unique. Insert coconut milk! Pretty darn fun right? It was quite comical trying to name this recipe. I polled my husband and blogging buddy to see which of these would be most enticing: Coco-Nutella Hot Chocolate? Coconutella Hot Chocolate?Coconut-ella Hot Chocolate? You can see my dilemma right? Would you have chosen something other than the title I ended up going with? Anywhoo.. as you’re chilly this weekend, keep this recipe in your back pocket to warm you up. It’s extremely smooth and creamy, rich, and perfectly delicious. I even whipped up some coconut whipping cream to top ‘er off and it was that much better!

So how about the other exciting part of today’s post? I’ve teamed up with some of my favorite blogs for a very special giveaway! I’m giving away some of my FAVORITE things!!! I’ve been excited about this for weeks and it’s finally come to share this with all of you! Let’s break down the sponsors shall we? Last year at the Pinner’s Conference I entered to win a set of holiday cards and guess what? I won them! They were THE most beautiful holiday cards I’ve ever ordered. Pro Digital Photos has graciously offered to give a set away this year to one of my readers! Up to $250 value*! Winner must act fast as Christmas is just around the corner! I must say, I’m quite envious of the winner of this prize.. you will LOVE your cards!

You may notice in many of my traveling photos I’m always equipped with the same bag. Well a couple of years ago I discovered Better Life Bags. They are a company that has the most amazing back story about employing women who have “who have various barriers to employment”. It’s a really awesome story. I purchased my Molly bag and have loved it every day since. I usually pack it with my camera, wristlet wallet, a snack, water, and various souvenirs I pick up along the way! In the print shown on the giveaway entry a winner will receive the exact bag that I LOVE and take everywhere with me!

I’ve been working this year quite a bit with La Terra Fina (you may have seen my Mini Shrimp & Artichoke Appetizer Cups and Artichoke & Jalapeno Cheeseball recipes) and their products are some of my fav! They are made without any yucky ingredients: SCORE!!! One lucky reader will get a fun assortment of some of my very favorite products I’ve used all year (including a variety of dip and quiche)! Lastly, Nancy’s Yogurt, another great company with yucky-ingredient-free products has generously provided a goodie bag as well of fun treats! Nancy’s Yogurt made an appearance recently in my Peaches and Cream Parfait & Apple Pie Crepes. So many fun things, SUCH a fun giveaway! A HUGE thank you to all of my sponsors! Good luck!!

I would give anything to spend Christmas with my mom. She was killed by a drunk driver when I was just five years old.

We are moving Dec 19, so we can’t go home to my parents to see my friends and family who we only see 2-3 times per year. So if I could, I would be there.

  3. Anna Chan

I would spend Christmas on Nantucket island and enjoy the majesty of the ocean. The Instagram link in the entries section is broken.

  4. jaysbakingmecrazy

I’ve always wanted to go to Chicago for Christmas. But I’m also happy just staying home and having a low-key day.

  5. Kimberly

There is no other place I would rather be on Christmas morning than at home with my husband and two little boys! They are the best gift I could ever receive!

  6. Elaine

Cooking crazy new things, playing games, and enjoying family (including my new grandbaby) all together at our house.

I would love to take my whole family to New Zealand for the holidays. Warm weather, amazing scenery, the people I love … what could be better?

  8. MIchelle Bonsell

I would like to be home with my parents brother and sisters for Christmas. Haven’t had a Christmas with them in over 15 years.

  9. Alice Lawrence

If I could be any where for Christmas I spend it in Ohio with my 93 year old Father. I know he doesn’t have many years left and I just love being with him and listening to all his life stories. He is a precious jewel.

Our family would love to go to New Zealand. We are Tolkein fans and Globetrekker/SamanthaBrown/Rick Steve’s fans, too! The only way we have traveled thus far is through the DVD’s we check out at our library!

  11. Amanda

With my family, but somewhere i wouldn’t have to cook, clean up, just enjoy the holiday with my family! 😉

  12. Carla

I would love for my husband and I to both really be off work for more than just a day or two over Christmas. We aren’t traveling this year, which is unusual for us and I’d love to really just spend good quality time together with our kids.

  13. Jessica

It’s not that I want to leave my family on Christmas but my dream is to take my honey to Italy and I’m not sure we can afford it for our honeymoon…so to be able to do that…just once, would be the best gift ever.

  14. Natasha Erwin

I love being with my family at the beach… seeing a trend! Haha- great to meet you on the hop around blogs!

  15. Melissa S

I would love to be on a beach somewhere with my family for Christmas. I have always lived where December is very cold so it would be an awesome experience.

  16. Virginia

I would take my whole family to Ohana winter family camp for a week of old fashioned, no electronics Christmas

  17. Sharon E.

I would be home with my family – we’ll be with family, but will be traveling to see others besides just immediate family.

  18. Jenn

I’d be with my grandmother, who left this earth 10 years ago. Still missing her everyday . . . Thanks for your generosity, btw 🙂

  19. Amy

Since we are in southern FL, I would love to visit family further north to experience some colder weather!!!

  20. Lori

We have always wanted to see Christmas in Germany! I would take my husband and two special needs grown-up kids and go there!

  21. Taryn Burt-Denton

I get to be with my family this year. My husband is off work, so we will be exactly where we want to be!

  22. Heather Hansen

I would love to be with all of my family! My sisters live all over the U.S., so its hard to get us all in one place. Hopefully next year!

  23. samantha cox

I would in a l9g cabin with a fire in the chimney blazing with my husband and 2 beautiful girls celebrating our Lords birth!!!!

  24. Salina Surowiec

I love what we already do. We celebrate Christmas with my parents and siblings on Christmas Eve and with the in-laws on Christmas morning. It is a joy to be surrounded by family!

  25. Micah

Spend the day with both my family and my husband’s family; (not very likely because his family lives in Austria and mine in Kansas!)

  26. Deb S

I’m a homebody, so I’m happy just to be snuggled up in my own family room. Otherwise, maybe somewhere unconventional like the beach.
