It’s more about the memories made around the fireplace, at the dinner table, watching Christmas movies… things like that right? So the less time I have to spend in the kitchen the better. Additionally, it’s all about the food too! There’s just something about food that really brings people together. When I’m playing board games with friends and family I always love to have a good snack nearby. These Cinnamon Crustys are exactly what I’m looking for. They are quick, easy, and quite delicious. Cinnamon Crustys are a delicious snack perfect for a cold winter day or any day!

Ingredients

  • 12 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls thawed to room temperature
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Cut rolls in half. Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray and flatten each roll half into a 5 inch circle. Carefully lift and place each one on a sprayed baking sheet (they will shrink slightly).
  2. Brush with melted butter. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over butter. Bake at 350°F 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and turn each crusty over. Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Return to oven and bake 5-7 minutes until nice and crispy.

    Love this, we use pie dough to make “crusties” I laugh every time I hear the name because it doesn’t sound that appealing. But, I have made them since I was a kid. Love it! As always, lovely photos.

      Thank you! Add some cheese? I’m not sure that would go well with the cinnamon and sugar, but by all means you are certainly welcome to give it a try!
