I don’t know about you, but sometimes it can be so hard getting dinner on the table at a reasonable time after a long day of work. Because I also still work a full time job outside of Tried and Tasty, it’s imperative that I have a plan for dinner during the week. We’ve found ourselves having dinner entirely too late one too many times in the evening and that’s mostly a result of poor planning and not enough quick and easy meals on hand. For example, the other night we decided to start thinking about dinner around 7:00 pm and all we had to work with was rock solid frozen chicken breasts. Talk about disappointing! It was already dinnertime and we didn’t have a plan at all, and with the frozen hunk of uncooked meat we were looking at, it would be at least another hour before we would have anything on the table. Then I remembered the Cooked Perfect Premium Fire Grilled Chicken we had in the freezer – life saver! Because they are fully cooked the chicken is ready in approx. 20 minutes straight from the freezer! Talk about a solution to my problem! Plus, they come in a wide variety of flavors including Bourbon BBQ Thighs, Lemon Herb Tenders, and Zesty Herbs & Spice Wings. The tenders came in handy for a meal that I was able to throw together in under 30 minutes (that’s my kind of meal if I do say so myself). We love fajitas, burritos, and tacos so I knew I would be able to put something together quickly that we’d really enjoy.
These days have you noticed that everyone is either working late nights at the office, running kids around to after school activities, or too tired after a long day to even think straight. Am I right? It’s just the way things are. People keep getting busier and busier with no sign of slowing down. These Fire Grilled Chicken Tacos will come to your rescue. Tacos are a crowd favorite, and it doesn’t get any easier than these. Another reason I like using the Cooked Perfect Fire Grilled Tenders is because they are a premium product, don’t have any breading (which means more meat), they are fully cooked (which means you can get them on the table faster) and they are great for easy meal planning. Most importantly is the taste of these tenders is phenomenal! I love how flavorful they are without having to add the extra step of seasoning them yourself. And juicy! Did I mention how juicy they are? I shared these with a friend and she said that these were the best tacos she’s ever had – now THAT is a compliment, one that I owe entirely to the Cooked Perfect chicken! More often than not we typically have beef tacos (are you in the same boat?) so this switch up with the delicious fire grilled chicken flavor makes for a tasty twist. The chicken truly tastes as though it was pulled off of a sizzling hot grill where it was kissed by the fire. Want to take your meal to the next level? Why not add my quick and easy 5-Ingredient Blender Salsa on the side? You can have an easy meal WITH an easy side that the whole family will love. Next time you’re thinking about ‘Taco Tuesday’ keep this recipe in mind!
When you’re at the store be sure and keep your eyes peeled for this amazing Cooked Perfect Fire Grilled Chicken in the freezer aisle at Kroger, Stop & Shop, Giant or Wegmans (you can find the store nearest you: here). The other great thing about this recipe is that you will probably have almost everything on hand for these – the taco staples: lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, avocado, and cheese. If not, snag those while you’re at the store too. Be sure to print a digital coupon here for extra savings through 2/23/17!
