5-Ingredient Shrimp Scampi with Angel Hair Pasta // Tried and Tasty

I am a huge fan of a quick and easy dinner. I’m equally a huge fan of shrimp! I love shrimp, it may be my favorite seafood. Shrimp scampi? Shrimp cocktail? Fried Shrimp? You name it: I love it. But when it comes to seafood I’m not too picky particularly. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t share the same views. So when I want something fishy, I’ve only got to make enough for myself – since I will be the only one eating it. This recipe is perfect because it’s portions are for two servings (which normally would work perfect for his and hers), in my case that means I get to have it for dinner and then leftovers for lunch the next day.

The other great thing about this recipe is that there are only five-ingredients! I’m going to try and incorporate more of those kinds of recipes around here because if you all are anything like me – we’re busy people and ‘ain’t nobody got time’ for spending hours upon end in the kitchen slaving over a meal. At least I don’t anyway! This was ready in a jiffy and even with the simplicity it’s packed with flavor. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
  1. 10 shrimp, rinsed and drained
  2. Angel hair pasta
  3. 1 tbsp. butter
  4. 2 garlic cloves
  5. 1 tbsp. olive oil
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, sauté your garlic together with the butter for a couple of minutes. Add your shrimp and cook 5-7 minutes. In a separate pot cook your angel hair pasta according to package directions; rinse, then coat with olive oil. Top with cooked shrimp. Garnish with parsley if desired.
