Homemade Coconut Milk

You would not believe how easy it is to make your own coconut milk! The best part about it is there are only four ingredients. All you need is your Blendtec and less than five minutes of your time!

Ingredients

  • 1 c. unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 4 c. water
  • 3-5 dates pitted
  • ¼ tsp. Salt

Instructions

  1. On high speed, blend all ingredients for 50 seconds. 

  2. Strain liquid through a nut milk bag into a large bowl. Squeeze as much of the milk out as you can. Transfer milk to carafe, mason jar, or airtight jar.

  3.  Store in refrigerator up to one week.
