Chocolate Covered Strawberry Dutch Baby Pancakes

You've had a german pancake (or Dutch Baby as they are also called) but have you had this delightful chocolate covered strawberry version? Probably not... but I'm here to change that. This would be the most excellent breakfast to wake up to!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 c. fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 c. melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a 9x13 pan while oven preheats. Heat oven to 425 F. In a blender, mix eggs and milk; add flour and salt and blend again. Pour mixture into pan with melted butter. Bake 15-20 minutes. The batter will rise but not run over.

  2. Top with fresh strawberries and drizzle with melted chocolate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional). Serve immediately.
