Sausage In A Hole Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 slices white whole wheat bread
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Johnsonville Breakfast Patties
  • 2 tbsp. real maple syrup

Instructions

  1. With a circle cookie or biscuit cutter, press a hole in the center of your bread. 

  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-low heat. 

  3. Butter your bread or melt a tbsp. of butter in it. When the butter is all spread out, place the piece of bread in the skillet or on the griddle and place a Johnsonville Breakfast Patty in the center. 

  4. Cook for at least 30 seconds to brown the toast. After about a minute, flip it over. Repeat with remaning sausage patties and do the same with a cracked egg in the center.
