  • 2 15 1/2 ounce cans diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. dried basil
  • 1 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh black pepper

Italian Garlic Butter

  • 1/2 c. butter softened
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp. dried or fresh parsley

Instructions

Marinara Sauce

  1. Heat a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the olive oil, allowing it to warm for a minute, then add the garlic. Sauté for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until golden brown and fragrant.

  2. Add the whole and diced tomatoes, and all seasonings, stirring to combine. Simmer the sauce for 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, then season it with additional salt, pepper to taste.

  3. With an immersion blender, blend tomatoes to your desired consistency.

Italian Garlic Butter

  1. In a small mixing bowl, beat butter on high for several minutes using the paddle attachment.

  2.  After 30-60 seconds, add in remaining ingredients & continue beating another several minutes.

  3. Transfer to an airtight container & store refrigerator (as you would with regular butter).
