I don’t know if you know this about me but I am a HUGE fan of cruising (as in cruise ships). I’ve been on seven or eight cruises and I’m already SO looking forward to the next one we’ve got planned for our ten year anniversary next year! While I love everything about cruising, one of my absolute favorite things are the specialty drinks. For the last few cruises, I gave myself a budget to get one specialty drink a day (usually for the evening entertainment, but sometimes on the upper deck during the afternoon of hot sea days). Specifically, on our last cruise I was told to get a ‘Miami Vice’. What’s that I asked? To my surprise, TWO of my favorite drink worlds collided!
It’s the romance of the century! It’s a Pina Colada paired with a Strawberry Daiquiri! It’s practically every tropical flavor you’ve ever loved, swirled together in the perfect union and delivered through icey, slushy goodness. Pineapple? Check! Coconut? Check! Strawberry? Check! Lime? Check! Vanilla? You bet!
Better still, you don’t have to book a cruise to enjoy this cold glass of paradise. Thanks to the outstanding, quick & easy to use syrups from Torani – Coconut Syrup and Strawberry Syrup – you’re just a quick trip to the grocery store away from beverage bliss. My recommendation would be to whip up this incredible drink, sit out on your deck or patio as the sun starts to set, crank up your favorite tropical music, and enjoy the cruise life from the comfort of your own home. No passport or luggage required.
