Tropical Orange Slushie // This Orange, Coconut and Lime tropical drink tastes like Summer on ice! | Tried and Tasty

There are generally two kinds of people in the World – those who LOVE Summer and wish it would stick around all year long, and those who are eagerly counting down the days until Fall. Summer is my JAM and I simply don’t want it to leave! Yeah.. yeah.. I get it, some people just want to break out their comfy hoodies and curl up with a good book and a hot cup of tea – and I can respect that.. but I’m not ready to say adios to long days, warm nights, and hanging out on the deck. Fortunately, I have the remedy for any Summer withdrawals that you may be having! I am proud and excited to present to you.. this incredible Tropical Orange Slushie! It’s SUMMER IN A GLASS! ON ICE!

Last year my husband and I went to California for the Natural Products Expo West & while we were there our dear friend took us to the most marvelous place for breakfast: TOAST. It was quaint, it was hipster, and it was DE-licious! One of the drinks we ordered was called an “Orange Jealous” (a healthier take on the ever so famous Orange Julius) which was “100% pure thick coconut milk, fresh squeezed orange juice, a splash of key lime juice shaken and poured over ice”. Ever since that drink I’ve been wanting to recreate a version of it. While theirs wasn’t blended, I thought I’d give it a whirl to throw it in the blender. I’m so glad I did. It’s AMAZING!

Did I mention that it’s a complete cinch to throw everything together in a blender and go from parched to refreshed in no time flat? Thanks to Torani’s Signature Blood Orange Syrup, along with Torani’s Signature Lime Syrup this recipe is as quick and as simple as it gets. I’m all about simplicity, not only when it comes to preparing a drink, but also simplicity when it comes to ingredients. I’m all about sticking to ingredients that I understand and can pronounce. Torani Signature Syrups are crafted with unique blends of pure cane sugar and organic agave, maple or caramelized sugar that are layered with natural flavors and colors. That’s right.. pure, simple, and all natural ingredients. I’m on board with that! Let’s get started, shall we? Summer awaits!
