Surprise! I’ve got a delicious recipe for you that is ridiculously easy and crazy delicious. Do you ever buy those meat and cheese trays from the grocery stores? They usually have a sauce in the center of them and if you buy a bag of rolls you can make sandwiches at your event. You know the trays I’m talking about? Well, I have to admit I love them for one main reason and one reason alone: that yummy delicious sauce in the center that I slather on my roll so thick it’s bursting out of my sammie (please tell me I’m not the only one that’s done this). I seriously love the sauce so much I almost want to just drink it! Too far? I once asked exactly how it was made and you know what they told me? ‘It’s just mustard and mayo mixed together’. WHATCHOOSAY?!

With the temps rising (finally) I’ve been hunting for quick and easy lunch ideas that I can throw together and shove in a picnic basket and be on my merry way. I remembered my love of the meat and cheese tray and decided to figure out how to replicate it at home. N-n-n-nailed it! I grabbed my French’s Classic Yellow mustard (side note: did you know that French’s also has a deliciously bold tasting Spicy Brown mustard AND a smooth & creamy Dijon? Yes!) and got to experimenting. You know me though, I couldn’t just mix together mayo and mustard, I had to elevate it a touch. I added only a couple of key ingredients… which I feel while subtle – are the perfect addition. Want to know why else I love French’s Classic Yellow mustard? Did you know it’s100% natural? Yep. Stone ground, #1 Grade Mustard Seeds with nothing artificial, period. No corners cut and no weird stuff. How awesome is that?! Start making these pinwheels that are great for the whole family now, I can guarantee you’re going to want them all summer long!
