Pina Colada Agua Fresca | Looking for a delicious drink made without any artificial coloring, soda, sherbet or ice cream? This Pina Colada Agua Fresca is PERFECT for you! It's all-natural, delicious, and really simple! Try this refreshing beverage today! // Tried and TastyI may or may not be starting an obsession with fruity agua frescas. It started with my Kiwi Cucumber Agua Fresca and now I’m bringing you another delicious tropical flavor. I’m a HUGE pina colada fan. Huge. One of my absolute favorite things to sip on anytime I am on a cruise vacation is a virgin pina colada. I try to limit myself to only one a day, because while they are delicious I know good and well that they are PACKED with sugary goodness. That’s what I love about this agua fresca: no artifical colors, soda, sherbet, or ice cream. Two ingredients: pineapple & coconut water. Does it get any easier than that?

With the help of my Blendtec Designer 625 Blender I was able to whip this up in a matter of minutes. Really, it only took 30 seconds – the other minute or two comes from slicing and dicing your fresh pineapple. Today kicks off National Food Allergy Awareness Week. While I am fortunate enough to not suffer from food allergies, I know there are many out there that do. In my research of coconut being considered a ‘tree nut’ here what I found: “Coconut is not a botanical nut; it is classified as a fruit, even though the Food and Drug Administration recognizes coconut as a tree nut. While allergic reactions to coconut have been documented, most people who are allergic to tree nuts can safely eat coconut.”. *If you do happen to be allergic to coconut, a Pineapple Agua Fresca would be just as tasty, simply replace the coconut water with plain water!

    I’d make the Sunny D slush – I don’t have to follow a special diet but I do watch what I eat/drink

Thankfully, I have no food allergies. I love pineapple and coconut. Sooo tropical and tasty! This recipe is a simple 2-ingredients, too! <3

This sounds wonderful! I do not have any known food allergies or intolerances. However I am working to greatly diversify our diet, to incorporate a wide variety of whole, nutritious, mostly plant foods. This will serve to decrease the amounts of the few foods–wheat, soy, corn, dairy–that dominate the SAD.

I am lactose intolerant, but I cannot quit all dairy… I try to avoid it when possiblr though. I am also allergic to cherries :( this is my dream blender! Ah so I am crossing my fingers so I can make lots of nut butter and smoothies!
