Mmm. Mmm. Good. Period. If you like peanut butter – which I love to use in recipes, you will fall in love with these bars. The problem I found with them however is my inability to stop eating them after just one bar. I’ve learned that I have to share them with friends and neighbors after I’ve made them otherwise I will wind up eating them all myself! They are just like the peanut butter bars you used to get when you were kid at school from the lunch lady.

Remember the yummy peanut butter bars you used to get as a kid at school? These taste just like those! They are so peanut buttery delicious!
Enough peanut butter for thin layer on cooled bars
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Mix all ingredients together in medium sized mixing bowl until creamy. Spread mixture onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool, then spread a layer of peanut butter over cookie. Repeat with chocolate frosting. Slice into bars.
Recipe Notes
[My 2 Cents] To prevent cookie from crumbling, make sure they are completely cooled before frosting. Usually bars taste better the 2nd day.
