One night + a fabulous group of food bloggers + an AMAZING kitchen + a fantastic product = an incredible night!
A couple of weekends ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Lagrima Vanilla Bloggers Night.
Never heard of Lagrima? Neither had I.
Hosted by the talented Jesseca from One Sweet Appetite and Ashlee from I’m Topsy Turvy.
I love food, I love cooking, and I love parties, so this event was right up my alley.
There were lots of photos being taken everywhere!
Where would we be without smart phones these days?
If you aren’t currently following me on Instagram, follow along!
Not only did I get to spend time with my blogging besties:
Amber from Dessert Now, Dinner Later, Alli from Cupcake Diaries, and Aimee from Like Mother Like Daughter
I also got to spend time with new blogging friends:
Kami from No Diets Allowed and Holly from Happy Food Healthy Life (pictured)
And also Kayley from The Kitchen McCabe and Lindsey from Cafe Johnsonia (not pictured)
The best part of the evening however, was being introduced to Lagrima Pure Vanilla!
I’ve mentioned this amazing product recently in my Pecan Pie Cheesecake and my Walnut Apple Snack Cake.
I am in LOVE with this vanilla.
It’s pure excellence in a bottle.
Lagrima is a high quality vanilla that is made with organic vanilla beans [SCORE!].
It is packaged in a beautiful clear Italian glass bottle. -AND-
Each bottle comes with a handful of organic vanilla beans. Won’t that be fun once you’re all out of the extract?!
In addition to indulging in an amazing grilled cheese bar and a variation of this Creamy Tomato Soup, we baked!
I have been wanting to make biscotti for as long as I can remember, but just haven’t gotten around to it.
Not sure what a biscotti is? Never heard of it? It’s an oblong-shaped almond cookie/biscuit.
It’s made dry and crunchy through cutting the loaf of dough while still hot and fresh from baking in the oven.
The recipe we used was Nonna’s Biscotti adapted by Jesseca.
Hands down: amazing.
My favorite piece of advice from the evening was to take this quality product:
“Out of the cupboard and in to the conversation”
So here I am. Sharing with you this wonderful product.
Check it out. I just received my first shipment from Lagrima this weekend.
You’ll be hearing all about it for many recipes to come.
