You guys! POPSICLE WEEK is back and I’m so happy to be a part of it again. You may have seen my tease on Insta the other night (check it out if you didn’t, I love the shot I captured!). It’s hot in these here parts that I live, and most likely wherever you are too. Popsicles are THE best way to cool down! Last year for the weeklong event I made my Peach Mango Lemonade Popsicles that were all kinds of delicious. This year I was inspired by our Lemonade Cleanse drink that we make all the time (and when I say we, I really mean Steve.. because lets be honest – he always makes it for us!). Anywhoo.. I got to thinking what would taste great with some kiwi I had lying around for just about almost-too-long and then the lightbulb turned on: limeade! Doesn’t that sound refreshing?
Really quick let me tell you about our favorite press to squeeze citrus. We love, love, LOVE this press and use it all the dang time. In fact, I mentioned it back when we did our juice cleanse. If you didn’t see Juicing: Everything You Need, there are a lot of great tools for you! So we whipped out all the juice we needed for these popsicles in no time at all. Additionally, my popsicle maker is a staple and must have! Definitely my favorite variety of popsicle molds. The other great thing about these treats is that they are refined-sugar free AND made with simple ingredients (I will say we often use Liquid Stevia as a sweetener, but who has that on hand besides us?). So delicious – EVERYONE will want a lick! Be sure to hop over to see all of the fun popsicles that have been posted this week. There are new treats posted each day until tomorrow so check it out!
