Where are my hot cocoa fans? I’ll be the first to stand in any hot chocolate line! I love the stuff so much, but the ingredient list on the store-bought variety leaves little to be desired. I was sure there was a homemade version with surely with less than 25 unpronounceable ingredients that could blow it out of the water. I was right! This mix has three ingredients. Count ’em: unsweetened cocoa, organic cane sugar, and powdered milk. That’s it. It’s just that easy. All you have to do is add hot water and you’re good to go. Served with a dollop of fresh whipped cream (because lets be honest, marshmallows are just food like product anyway) and you’ve got a warm and tasty treat.
There’s just something about cozying up to a holiday movie by the fireplace or next to the Christmas tree with a cup of hot cocoa. Am I right? This makes a really great gift for all ages. Depending on how many you plan to gift this to, you can buy enough mugs for each and then double or triple the batch of hot coco mix. You could add a bag of marshmallows and I wouldn’t judge you!

It would be nice to have quantity amounts for the gift jar…and then how much you would measure out for 1 cup. Thank you
Beth
