I love a good fruit dip. Apples and dip are my favorite to be exact. Last year I made my 3-Ingredient Pumpkin Dip – which is killer by the way, and if you love pumpkin, this has just the right amount of pumpkin flavor. Last month I made my Honey Sweetened Fruit Dip – which is also incredible. Today I’m bringing you this healthy Caramel Apple Fruit Dip. Caramel apple say what? Yes. Inspired by my 2-Ingredient Healthy Caramel I knew it would an excellent way to make this dip with a healthy spin… and not loaded with lots of refined sugar. Anytime I can make a special treat that even my husband will eat (he’s the ultimate health nut) I know I’m on to something.
Dates can be scary. This I know. They also can be the most amazing natural sweetener. I’ve used them in smoothies, dips, crusts, you name it. In fact, we use them so often we by them in bulk at Costco. You can feel good about sweetening your recipe naturally. I pulled together my Clover Organic Sour Cream (we love Clover products and always have the sour cream and cottage cheese on hand), my dates, cream cheese, and spice. Voila, in less than 10 minutes I had the most perfect light and fluffy dip to dunk my sweet apples in. This recipe has only five ingredients. Five. Have I mentioned how much I {heart} simple recipes? Anymore these days I just skip right past those lengthy ingredient lists and move along to something easy I can whip together. This is that recipe and you must make it right away. I promise you’ll be thanking me!
