Wow, I am really losing it people. I had every intention of posting this on Wednesday. Which has now come and gone, so here you are today! This recipe is one of MANY Kristy has given me. She has excellent taste in food and really, I could have featured any one of her posts for the Submit Your Recipe. They are ALL good. This was especially tasty. Ingredients
  1. 1 lb Ziti
  2. 3 chicken breast, cooked, cubed
  3. 2 bell peppers, diced
  4. 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 8 oz shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  6. 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  7. 1 (15 oz) can of diced tomatoes
  8. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 1 tsp dried basil
  10. Salt and Pepper to taste
  11. 1 c. half and half
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente.
  3. Once the pasta is cooked, drain and rinse in cold water.
  4. Combine cubed chicken with green peppers, cheese, crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, salt and pepper. Add the chicken mixture to pasta.
  5. Place in a 9x13 baking dish and drizzle with half and half. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour or until cheese is melted and noodles are cooked.

    I have to take a meal to a friend and wondered if this can be made the day before where all she has to do is pop it in the oven for the one hour bake time. What do you think?

      I think you may be able to make this the day before, although I haven’t done that. If possible I would recommend making it the day of! Hope that helps :)
