Seven Layer Dip // Tried and Tasty

Seven Layer Dip // Perfect for parties, tail-gaiting, football season, or other various get togethers. Seven Layer Dip is an all-around tasty dip everyone loves! | Tried and TastyEveryone loves a good dip right? When I think of Seven layer dip I think of the Super Bowl. That’s kind of weird coming from me, I have no interest in football what so ever. I do however like the Super Bowl. It’s all the food :) This dip is good any time of the year and so easy to make. Have it as the starter to your Mexican meal or as an appetizer at any party! Watch out though, it can get pretty pricey – all the layers add up ($) quick!

I made this recently for a get together, and as I presumed – it was a hit! There just something about the sour cream/mayo/taco seasoning layer that just takes this dip over the top! Serve with your favorite chips at your next party and I will almost guarantee you won’t have any leftovers. If you want leftovers.. make a second batch and keep it at home. Trust me! This one is a keeper!

  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. mayo

  3. Spread beans on the bottom of pan/baking dish. Drop avocado mix/guacamole by spoonfuls then spread across the beans.

  4.  Layer the rest of the dip as follows: sour cream mix, tomatoes, olives, shredded cheese, onions. Chill dip; tastes better when cold. Serve with tortilla chips.
