It’s hot. Am I right? I’m so excited to have teamed up with a gazillion other fabulous bloggers for none other than POPSICLE WEEK! How fun is that? If you’ve been lacking in inspiration for how to enjoy your summer refreshingly you will lack inspiration no more. What better what to cool off than with a delicious frozen treat? This is the third year and I’m so happy to have jumped on board this time around (special thanks for my girl Cindy from Hungry Girl Por Vida)! There are new treats posted each day until tomorrow so check it out! I’ve been LOVING my new popsicle maker and can’t get enough of fresh fruit frozen sweet treats! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good slushy or icee.. but as I mentioned in my Frozen Strawberry Peach Lemonade, I just don’t have the calories to afford a high sugar content drink. So, I’ve found a great alternative: use the fruit as the sweetness with just a *touch* of natural sweetener – honey!
So peach is the flavor of the summer for me. Can you tell? The last time I went to Costco they were screaming at me to buy them. Ripe now? Oh GIMME! I was a sucker and bought two flats of them. Two flats? For TWO people? Am I crazy? No… I’m in LOVE! I can’t wait until I can get them from my local farmers market. That will be the best day ever. Mango was right next to the peaches – so I had to get them too. The flavors together? Pure bliss.
