Orange Banana Breakfast Smoothie | Looking for a great smoothie for breakfast? Try this fruity combo that is cool, refreshing, and delicious! | Tried and TastyTired of the same old thing for breakfast every morning? Why not try this delicious Orange Banana Breakfast Smoothie? It’s cool, refreshing, and delicious! If you’d like to amp up the nutrition even more, you could certainly add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or even some spinach greens too! Saturday night I had the opportunity to present at the Salt Lake Home + Garden Festival at the South Towne Expo and showed four ways you can begin your day with a quick & easy healthy breakfast! This was one of the delicious recipes!

If you’ve been around my site for a while, you know that I LOVE my Blendtec blender. Love, love, LOVE it. My husband and I have been using it faithfully for close to five years and love it now just as much as we did the day we bought it. Well the kind folks at Blendtec were gracious enough to send me a brand spankin’ new one that couldn’t be more perfect for me! If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the video slide show I put together of my new baby! The first thing I whipped up was this crazy delicious smoothie.

I also made one of my favorite granola recipes, my Honey Almond Granola Recipe. Once I whipped that up, I made my Fruit & Yogurt Breakfast Parfait with Honey Almond Granola. The point of the hour was to prove that with a little preparation you really can have a pretty rockin’ breakfast that’s not covered in sugar like the popular sugar-coated breakfast cereals or carb-heavy breakfast pastries that are all too often too convenient to grab. Stay tuned over the next couple of days, I’ll be posting the other two delicious recipes I made as well!

You don’t have to, but I wouldn’t be able to tell you what the consistency would be like without it. The ice makes it cool, refreshing & thicker.

This was absolutely delicious! I also used this recipe and substituted 1/2 cup frozen pineapple pieces and 1/2 cup frozen mango pieces in place of 1 cup of the ice, my goodness, felt like I should have been laying on a beach in the South Pacific!
