Thank you to Blendtec for generously providing the Designer 725 & Twister Jar for this giveaway! The recipe and opinions in this post are 100% mine.
I’ve been dying to share this post with you for two reasons. 1. who doesn’t love a good nut butter? It’s one of my husband and I’s favorite healthy snacks to have with peanut butter and 2. There’s a BLENDTEC GIVEAWAY!!! I mean need I say more? You all know how passionate I am about my Blendtec – imagine my excitement knowing I’ll be able to give away the item in my #1 spot on my Kitchen Essentials Worth The Investment recommendations. If you don’t however know of my love for this incredible machine or don’t happen to have this amazing appliance in your kitchen you must, must, MUST enter to win. I’m telling you – there’s a reason it’s in the number one spot. It deserves every square inch of real estate there.
What I wanted to do was create a recipe that is low sugar/low carb but also delicious. You’ve had peanut butter, almond butter and even cashew butter. But have you had Maple Pecan Butter? Rather than use actual real maple syrup, I went the low carb route and used maple extract! Totally genius right? I can’t take credit… it was all the hubs idea and absolutely brilliant. Not only do I have this delicious recipe for you, I have eight other delicious low sugar/low carb options AND a phenomenal giveaway below so keep scrolling for all the goodies!!!
Maple Pecan Butter
You're only three ingredients away from some of the most decadent Maple Pecan Butter you'll ever taste! It's rich, creamy and DIVINE! Serve it up with your fav fruits, on top of toast or why not slathered on your favorite pancakes or waffles?!
Ingredients
- 2 c. pecans
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. maple extract
- 1 tbsp. water
Instructions
-
Using your blender, add all of the ingredients and blend until smooth. The nuts will turn into a very thick and crumbly paste before eventually starting to release their oils and turn into nut butter.
Recipe Notes
I used my Blendtec Mini Twister Jar and on speed 1 I blended for about 20 seconds to reach the perfect consistency.
