Light and Dark Fondue // The most delicious fondue you'll ever have that's made with Hershey's Hugs! It's smooth and creamy and perfect with any dipper! | Tried and Tasty My love for fondue originated with Nat and Stef. I don’t know where we discovered it, but we’ve enjoyed it for years now. We’ve even visited the restaurant the Melting Pot down in Salt Lake to see where our “in-experience” compared. This became our favorite fairly quickly. Such a delicious treat and so much fun to dip various goodies in the pool of chocolaty goodness!

Ingredients

  • 6 large bananas
  • 50 miniature white and dark chocolate Hugs
  • 1/2 c. whipping cream
  • 20 mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Peel the sliced bananas.

  2. Combine the chocolate Hugs and whipping cream in a metal bowl and place on top of a saucepan half-filled with simmering water. Melt the chocolate on low to medium-low heat, making sure that it doesn't boil.

  3. When the chocolate has melted, stir in the mini marshmallows.

  4. Transfer the fondue mixture to the fondue pot and set on the burner. Keep the fondue warm on low heat. Serve with the bananas for dipping.

Recipe Notes

[My 2 Cents]
Serving suggestions: serve with maraschino cherries, strawberries, kiwi slices, mango pieces, graham wafers, chocolate wafers, pound cake cubes, pretzels, brownie bites.
