With that said, I’m all about trying new and fun things! Everyone serves cheese and crackers – I want to stand out and be different! With this Honey & Blue Cheese Crostini I can do just that. With a blod strong flavor I can bet these tasty little bites aren’t yo’ mamma’s appetizers.
What I love about this quick & easy appetizer is the simplicity. They start with Rhodes Warm N Serv rolls which means you can put them together lickety split and on a moments notice!
Honey & Gorgonzola Crostini
Honey & Gorgonzola Crostini is a wonderful addition to any soup or salad.
Ingredients
- 8 Rhodes Artisan French Rolls or 3 Rhodes Mini Baguettes
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2/3 cup honey
- 8 ounces Gorgonzola cheese crumbled
Instructions

Slice each crusty roll or baguette into 4 lengthwise slices. Lay each slice on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

Toast in a 400°F oven for 6-8 minutes or until edges begin to brown.

Remove bread from oven and crumble cheese on top of each slice.

Put back in oven for 2-3 minutes until cheese is starting to melt.

Remove from oven and drizzle each slice with honey.
