Homemade Baking Spice Mixes // These baking spice mixes are great to have around during the holidays, keep this recipe handy. You'll need it! | Tried and TastyThe holidays bring out the baking in most everyone. With my Homemade Savory Spice Mixes I thought it would be equally as important to have the ‘sweet’ versions as well. There are so many delicious treats being baked in homes everywhere! These Baking Spice Mixes are so easy to throw together and cheaper than the store bought variety. Pies, cookies, and cakes will be made better with these additions in the cupboard.

The perfect gift set would be the Cinnamon Sugar, Apple Pie Spice, Pumpkin Pie Spice, and Gingerbread Spice mix. Put them together with some Holiday Cookie Cutters,Nielsen Massey Vanilla PasteBaking Cups, and a decorative kitchen towel. It comes together beautifully and would be a great gift for any of your neighbors, co-workers, friends, or family.

In a recipe it calls for pie spice. I can not find a DIY that is just pie spice, it is either apple or pumpkin. What would be just pie spice?
    Thank you,

I know it’s not the holiday season, but I still like seeing your spice mix recipes. And I like seeing that you didn’t leave cardamom of your apple pie. It’s a must!

Thanks Amber, thought it was a fun collection! The jars are adorable! I got them from The Container Store – as soon as I saw them I knew they would be perfect!
