*Special thanks to Blendtec for generously providing the Blendtec Designer 625 Blender and Blendtec Twister Jar for this series to review, however all opinions as usual are my own.
I couldn’t be more excited for the weeklong series I have planned for you. I was recently sent a Blendtec Designer 625 Blender in the most gorgeous Seafoam and I LOVE it! While I’ve been an owner of a Blendtec blender for about five years, I have truly enjoyed the upgrade. Between the hubs and I, we typically use our Blendtec at least once but up to a couple of times a day. With that much use, you are going to need a high powered, great quality, well made blender.
With the 3.0 peak horsepower motor, there is more than enough power to get any job done. We are constantly making smoothies, nut butters, soups, and so much more. What I love about the new designer series is the illuminated, capacitive touch interface and 6-speed capacitive touch slider + pulse, making the blender more versatile and simple to use. It’s such a fun new feature. Because it’s completely flat, it’s a breeze to wipe clean! I also like that the illuminated display shows the remaining blend time {as I anxiously await my blended goodness}. As with the older models, there are also preprogrammed cycles including: smoothie, ice cream, whole juice, & hot soup.
With a blender of this magnitude, have you ever considered making your own nut milk or flour? If the thought hadn’t crossed your mind I am here to show you over the course of nine recipes just how easy it is to use and make your own whole wheat flour, oat flour, almond flour, almond milk, and coconut milk. If you aren’t in love with this machine already, I can just about guarantee that you are about to fall head over heels! First up, I’ve got for you my Homemade Almond Milk recipe, unsweetened and over on the Blendtec blog I’m sharing with you my Vanilla Almond Milk, sweetened. Enjoy!

Love this recipe and the blender color ! Just one question, does the seafoam blender stain easily since the lid is also white? Would like to get one and make some beets and green smoothies with it. Thank you!
Yvonne
You know I’m not certain if it stains easily or not – the actual blender base wouldn’t – but I can’t guarantee that for the lid. I actually have a few jars (two others with black lids) so I use those for my dark colored blends. Hope that helps! I LOVE the seafoam color!
Marcy
great recipe! what can you do with the leftover almonds?
Yvonne
You could throw them in smoothies or add to muffins – not sure what else, but those would be great options!

I just ordered a blendtec and can’t wait to try this when it gets in! Few questions: where did you get your nut milk bag and what kinds of things do you use the reserve pulp for? Thank you!
Yvonne
Awesome!! That’s so great, you will LOVE it, and I’ve got PLENTY of recipes for you to be able to use when you get it!! I got my Nut Milk Bag
on Amazon, only $8.99 and if you have prime you can get it in two days!! As far as the pulp goes, you can throw it in a smoothie or add it to pancake or waffle batter! Let me know if you have any other questions!

one question I did have, is that water the almonds are soaked in overnight?
Yvonne
Yes, just water soaked for 6 hours up to overnight!
