I love making up recipes. Most of the time I’m probably not really making them up – I’m mocking something I’d seen somewhere sometime. With the spaghetti we were having for dinner I wanted some garlic bread but we didn’t have any in the freezer but we did have Rhodes rolls. So I decided to see how these would turn out. They turned out marvelously and oh so garlicky good! You could rise them on the counter but I was at work and didn’t want them to rise too quickly and that’s why I left them in the fridge.
- 9 Rhodes Rolls
- 4 tbsp. melted butter
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp. garlic salt
- Remove rolls from freezer the night before you want to serve them. In an 8x8 baking dish pour melted butter. Generously roll and coat frozen rolls in pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan and garlic salt. Arrange in pan 3x3. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in the refrigerator until doubled in size (at least 14-16 hours). Preheat oven to 350 and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
