I happened to stumble upon a recipe center at a grocery store in southern Utah a few months ago and this one caught my eye. Not only are the majority of the ingredients things that I typically have on hand, the instructions are simple: chop, pour, cook. Love it!
Cheesy Chicken Veggie Chowder
Cheesy Chicken Veggie Chowder is a great crock pot meal that will have your home smelling wonderful in no time.
Ingredients
- 1 can cream of celery
- 1 can cream of chicken
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 c. diced potatoes
- 2 c. cooked chicken fried with garlic and onions, cubed
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped carrots
- 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
- 2 c. broccoli
- 1/2 can corn
Instructions

Mix all but last three ingredients (cheese, broccoli, and corn) in Crock Pot on low for 6-7 hours. Add cheese, broccoli, and corn and cook on high for the last 45 minutes.
