I have a wicked sweet tooth but my waist line doesn’t like when I indulge it. I love that this recipe is a healthy alternative. Thanks so much for linking it up at the This Is How We Roll Thursday link party.

Thanks Erica! Those are the best kinds of recipes, the ones that look like they took a lot of time to prepare, but are in fact super simple! ;)

Totally, great for the whole family! The nutritional information is only an estimate – but it’s actually pretty close to accurate. The dates, walnuts, & yogurt are pretty high in calories. The dates and walnuts of course are healthy fats – so the calories in this particular instance don’t really equate to say.. a candy bar. The yogurt you chose will determine your calories there – I chose my fav, which is a little higher in sugar – can easily be swapped for greek or plain yogurt to save calories there. For me though, if I’m going to have a treat – I’d much rather have this healthy treat with good fats and natural sugars! Anyway.. long answer, hope it helps!
