The Green Apple Energizer // A refreshing and energizing juice perfect any time you need a little pick-me-up! | Tried and TastyIt’s day 20 of our detox and things this round of the cleanse have been rough, to say the least. I feel like it’s harder this time around because we’ve done it before. Thankfully the two week juice fast is over and we’re in to the raw food phase. I’ve got a handful of juice recipes that I’m planning on sharing with you and this Green Apple Energizer is one of my favorites. I may be partial to it because it’s green and green is my favorite color – or I may love it because it’s darn delicious!

It’s been fun creating ‘recipes’ as we’ve been juicing. For the most part we just throw together what we think sounds good. We’ve also been generously given a healthy supply of home grown cucumbers and I’m happy to say that cucumber juice is quite refreshing! But the real star of this juice is the green apple! It creates the perfect tart and zing that generates the ‘energizer’ feeling. So yummy! You’ve got to give it a try!

This sounds fantastic!! I don’t have a juicer though :( I did just get an attachment for my kitchenaid that might work though (I haven’t looked too terribly close at it yet). Thanks for sharing on Weekend Bites! All your other drinks look fabulous as well!

We haven’t either Rachael, it’s SO much work! We tend to juice more in the summertime anyway. Thanks for pinning!

This is yummy indeed! If you search ‘categories’ you’ll find other posts about juicing, I don’t have many resources – but I’ve got a couple!
