Crisp Watermelon Summertime Breeze // Tried and Tasty

Crisp Watermelon Summertime Breeze // Similar to my Cool Watermelon Refresher, add in some pears and you've got a sippable version of the summertime breeze! Delightful! | Tried and TastyWho knew that pear juice could be so wonderful? Add it to the base of Cool Watermelon Refresher and it’s as if you are actually sipping on a summertime breeze! It’s still amazes me how wonderful watermelon juice can be. I know I shouldn’t be surprised, but I’m shocked at just HOW wonderful it is! Have you been let in on the secret of how to pick a perfectly sweet watermelon? I was told this method a couple of years ago and have been using it ever since. Works like a charm. First you’ll want to find the yellow spot. Make sure it’s decently sized and relatively faded. This shows that the watermelon has sat for a while to sweeten up.

The next thing you’ll want to look for when picking the perfect watermelon may surprise you! Ever notice those ‘scratch lines’? Well, they are actually bee stings! The more bee stings, the sweeter the fruit. The stings show that the bees are trying to access all of the goodness from within! I know it sounds crazy, but trust me – it works!! Lastly, adding lime to anything makes everything better. The combo of pear, watermelon and lemon in this wonderful concoction. You’ve got to give it a try! If you aren’t sure where to start in your juicing journey, my Juicing: Everything You Need post is a must read!
