Mediterranean Wrap Knock Off

This past week I went to lunch with a friend. You may or may not know I’ve been watching my calories and eating out always makes me nervous. Before heading to eat I checked online for nutrition information. I typically have the same thing every time I go to Jason’s Deli – but that meal comes in at a whopping 710 calories, not including the fruit and dip. I was sad to have to try something new, but found this wrap that I’d hoped would be good. One bite, and I was in love. This wrap is fantastic and has the perfect calorie count. Oddly enough we had most of the ingredients at home already. I was missing only the cucumber. I went right to work recreating this delicious discovery and it turned out perfectly! Next time I make it, I will add sprouts!

1 Whole Wheat Tortilla (I use the Smart & Delicious low carb high fiber) 80 calories
2 slices turkey breast (I use the Kirkland brand) 60 calories
2 tbsp. Roasted red pepper hummus 50 calories
1/4 c. diced red onion 0 calories
2 tbsp. Italian Olive Salad 140 calories
Handful field greens or spinach 0 calories
1 Roma Tomato, diced 0 calories
Cucumber, sliced, desired amount 0 calories

Total calories: 330

Spread tortilla with hummus. Layer with remaining toppings. Roll. Enjoy!

I love wraps! I will try this soon! Do you make the red pepper hummus, or buy it. I’ve never made hummus, do you have a good recipe for some?
