Congratulations Natalie E, I’ve selected your recipe as a “Submit Your Recipe” submission. Believe it or not I’ve been holding on to this recipe for many months now. So readers, if you’ve sent me a recipe and I haven’t made it yet – there’s still hope! This was indeed a winner. After of course I finally tracked down some flank steak. I tried Wal Mart, Target, and Winco with no luck. Thankfully Costco pulled through for me. I’m sure Smith’s or Albertson’s would carry it in their meat department but I found it before I had to go the extra mile. What a delicious meal. So flavorful, so easy, so delicious. I served it with Spanish rice and it was the perfect side. Thank you Natalie, I’ve found a new go-to recipe that I will definitely make again and again. Please check out the details on the Submit Your Recipe Page and I will get your giftcard to you!

1 flank steak
2 pieces of bacon
1/2 bottle of Newmans Honey Mustard Dressing
1 package of corn tortillas
Shredded cheddar cheese for garnish
Wrap the bacon around the flank steak and place in a crockpot; cover with honey mustard dressing. Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Discard the bacon fat and shred meat. Warm the tortillas and top with shredded steak and cheese.
[My 2 Cents]
The first time I made this I cooked the steak for 4 hours and it was good. The next time I made it I cooked the steak for 4 1/2 hours and it was PERFECT! Obviously, the longer you cook the more tender the meat will be. I don’t think you need to go any longer than 4 1/2 – it was just right.

I am so glad you enjoyed it. This is one my family also has asked for again and again. And they aren’t so scared anymore when I make something up

I was just wondering if they come out tasting like honey mustard? They sound good to me but my husband hates honey mustard! Have you tried this with any other sauces or dressings mixed in? Thanks!
