Pizza Spaghetti Casserole

This is the perfect compromise to pizza and spaghetti. It’s pizza spaghetti! So if you like them separately, you will like them together. This was delicious. It was relatively quick to throw together and reheated well too. I think this would be something the kids would like too (the pepperoni will draw them in!)

12 oz. uncooked spaghetti
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (1 lb.) pkg. milk ground pork sausage
2 oz. turkey pepperoni slices (about 30), cut in half
1 (26 oz.) jar tomato and basil pasta sauce
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Italian three-cheese blend

Cook spaghetti with salt according to package directions. Drain well, and place in a lightly greased 9×13 baking dish. Brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until meat crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain and set aside. Wipe skillet clean. App pepperoni, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until light and crisp. Top spaghetti in baking dish with sausage; pour pasta sauce over sausage. Arrange half od pepperoni evenly over pasta sauce. Sprinkle with cheeses. Arrange remaining half of pepperoni over cheese. Cover with nonstick or lightly greased aluminum foil. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes; remove foil, and bake 10 minutes more until cheese is melted.
