Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce

I am learning to be more comfortable with my crock pot. I really enjoy throwing something in before I go to work (or before I go to bed) and having it ready when I get home. It’s so easy to just prepare your meal and forget about it, which I love. I love learning about new things to make in my crock pot and this was a first. Not too long about we had crock pot spaghetti at our neighbors and I thought it was genius! So I decided to try it for myself. It smelled and delicious and tasted just as good :)

Source: Adapted from Cooks.com

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1/2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1/2 c. beef bouillon
1 jar (32 oz) spaghetti sauce, any flavor
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (4 oz.) pieces and stems mushrooms
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

In a large skillet brown together meat, onion, and garlic. Drain. Add remaining ingredients; stir together until well combined. Transfer to crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over hot spaghetti noodles.

    Yvonne,
This looks great, I am going to give it a try. Just curious though what kind of bag are you using in the crock pot? I love the idea of easy clean up. Great website! I am looking forward to checking in daily! Blessings to you!

Laura – this tastes great! The bag is made by Reynolds, they are Slow Cooker Liners and they are pretty much amazing! THe tag line on the box says “For fast, easy cleanup with no soaking or scrubbing!” You can find them in the aisle with sandwhich baggies and aluminum foil and stuff!

      Hope that helps!
