Steve and I love fruit dip. Our love stems from on of our favorite little eateries… you may have heard of it? Jason’s Deli! Yum. My favorite (and the only thing I ever order (until I tried the loaded baked potato)) thing is the California Club with fruit and dip on the side. The first time I took Steve there I prompted him to try the dip. He ended up sucking the remains with a straw he loved it so much! Not too long after, he decided to learn how to make it at home. This isn’t the recipe for that dip, but it reminded me of it.. So anyway Ker shared this with me today at work and I knew I had to make it tonight! Turned out so good – the only thing I was missing was fruit! Ha!
- 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c. toffee bits
- With an electric hand mixer, blend together cream cheese, sugars, and vanilla until smooth. Hand mix in toffee bits. Serve with fresh fruit.
