This had such a good flavor. It may seem kinda odd to make a crock pot meal during the summer but it’s SO nice letting the crock pot do all of the work! I put this together before church this morning and we had it for dinner tonight, along with some crescent rolls (after the second try, the first batch I put in the oven and forgot about them… oops!). Steve really enjoyed this, so much so he went back for THIRDS!!!

1 pkg. Crockery Gourmet seasoning mix for chicken
2 c. water
1-2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken
4 carrots, coarsely chopped
4 celery stalks, coarsely chopped
3 medium potatoes cubed

Follow directions according to seasoning packet: mix entire contents of packet with 2 cups of water. Add chicken and vegetables. Cover and cook on low setting for 7-8 hours. Do not stir, product will baste itself during the cooking process.

Thank you for posting this. I just put this in my crock pot and I am excited to have this for the rest of the week. Thanks so much.

Hey Von, I was wondering where you buy the seasoning mix for this. I’ve looked for it at Walmart and Smith’s and can’t seem to find it. I may just be looking at it in the wrong place but I’ve really been wanting to try this recipe! Thanks!

Hmm, I’m pretty sure I got it at WalMart – that’s one of the only places we shop (other than Costco, Sam’s Club, Smith’s, and Winco) I know it wasn’t any of those, so check back at WalMart. You will find it will the seasoning packets like sloppy joe mix, fajita mix, taco mix, etc. There’s about three of the Crockery Gourmet selections and this is one of them. It’s in a goldish packet. Let me know if you can’t find it and I will pay extra close attention at the store next time :)

Thanks woman! I’m gonna check next time I go. I usually do my grocery shopping there so I will be SO happy if they have it. I must have not looked in the right place!
