French toast is Steve’s favorite meal. If we can’t think of anything to make for dinner this is always in his top three suggestions. I didn’t think this recipe would be much different than the french toast he usually throws together. My favorite bread to use is french bread, and for this particular recipe I used wheat french bread – which I knew Steve would totally dig. After just a few bites, he said it was the best french toast he had ever had! What a compliment!

3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 stick margarine, melted
8 slices of bread

Beat together all ingredients. Coat both sides of bread, cook evenly in heated skillet. Serve warm and enjoy.
