Like many of the recipes on my blog, I got this one from my friend Amanda. She always says “I will only make it if it has five ingredients or less!” This is the perfect example of a typical “Amanda” recipe! Easy Homemade Alfredo Sauce. What I love about it is the simplicity. The first time I tried to make this sauce I mistakenly used grated Parmesan instead of shredded. I will tell you, that won’t work! No matter how long I cooked the sauce for it never thickened and the Parmesan remained “grainy”. It was a great first attempt.Next time you need an alfredo sauce recipe, come here!

Recipe Notes
[My 2 Cents]
This is great with fettucini noodles; cooked a prepared according to package directions, side salad and breadsticks. Also a great dipping sauce for breadsticks. Hey if you don't feel like making a salad and breadsticks try Olive Garden to go! Fast AND easy! Also if you don't have heavy cream, you can substitute it for 3/4 c. milk and 1/3 c. plus 1 tsp. butter, it's not completely the same, but the Alfredo still turns out pretty good.[My 2 Cents]

OH MY YUMMY! Made this tonight and it was FABULOUS. We used it on noodles and as a dipping sauce for our breadsticks. So good!
